Feeling swell. Why not make your own sea salt natural hair spray to play up your beautiful waves?
Self-care is any conscious act we take to nourish our own physical, mental or emotional health. It's about taking proactive action to help us "feel swell" within & about ourselves. While obviously self-care is about much more than just the external & the physical, I'm all for feeling beautiful! Personally, I'm a fairly low maintenance beauty gal, appreciating simple & natural. So, I'm loving this sea salt natural hairspray DIY recipe to help emphasise a wavy "beach hair" look without any nasty chemicals or drying out your hair.
What you will need
Ingredients & equipment:
> 1/3 Cup Warm Water (almost boiling)
> 1 teaspoon Sea Salt
> 1 teaspoon Epsom Salts
> 1 teaspoon Fractionated Coconut Oil
> 1 teaspoon Aloe Vera Gel
> 10 drops pure Lavender Essential Oil
> 30 ml Glass Spray Bottle
** Use a spray top that has a wide diffusion (as opposed to a sprayer that sprays in a pointed stream).
How to make this sea salt natural hairspray
1 Stir the Water, Sea Salt and Epsom Salts together until dissolved.
2 Add Fractionated Coconut Oil, stir until dissolved.
3 Add Aloe Vera Gel, stir until dissolved.
4 Lastly, add Lavender Essential Oil and shake gently in the spray bottle until combined.
How to use your sea salt natural hairspray
Guidelines for best results:
> Blow dry your hair, spritz it with water and scrunch.
> Then, spray the sea salt natural hairspray onto your hair and scrunch.
> Be careful not to use too much at first - build up to the right amount for your hair, or it can make your hair too crunchy!
